About Me

My name is Jeff Rogg and I'm a historian. I have a PhD in history from The Ohio State University, a master's in security studies from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, a law degree from Villanova University, and a bachelor's in Latin and Ancient History from Swarthmore College. I served six years as an infantryman in the Massachusetts Army National Guard, receiving an honorable discharge at the rank of sergeant. In my spare time, I like to fish, read, and hang out with my 150 pound bullmastiff pup, Teddy.
